Following a period of serious disrepair, Yolo County acquired the property in 1975 and initiated the preservation. The Gibson Mansion, a blend of Modified Georgian Revival, Italianate, and Neoclassical styles, reflect the home’s layered history. Our firm led the rehabilitation of the historic residence, supporting its adaption as a countywide historical museum. In 2018, stewardship of the house and its 2.5-acre site was transferred to YoloArts, ensuring its continued use and preservation.
