Situated on a challenging hillside lot, this project involved rebuilding and reimagining a studio guest cottage that was destroyed in the 2017 Sonoma Complex Fire. The new design extends the original foundation and adds a second story, expanding the accessory dwelling unit (ADU) from 504 square feet to 1,198 square feet.
New features of the cottage include three bedrooms, a recreation area, and a large upstairs bedroom suite with a private bathroom.
